What Kind of Research do we Support? All research supported by the SAEE Education Research Endowment Fund is selected for its importance to the practice of public education. No research is considered complete without an analysis of its implications for educational policy. A full list of SAEE projects completed and in progress is available on this website.
How do we Ensure Quality Control? Proposals are carefully screened by a committee whose members encompass educational, administrative and financial expertise. Only high quality projects and researchers are selected. Each research contract specifies a time line for completion and publication. Each study is peer reviewed by an expert advisory panel.
What Becomes of the Research Results? SAEE has an excellent track record of communicating research results so that they can make a difference. The findings of each completed study are sent to all provincial education ministries, donors, and other interested lay and professional groups. Authors are also encouraged to prepare papers for presentation to both academic and policy making audiences, as well as for submission to professional journals.
